On Thursday, 8/25/2011 for the occasion of the birth anniversary of Mother Teresa, at 12 p.m. in the NI Memorial House of Mother Teresa, will be held a press conference where the press representatives will be informed about the purchasing the copyrights for short documentary video of the ceremony of awarding the Nobel peace Prize, which was given to Mother Teresa in year 1979. The Video premiere will be presented to the public in the Amphitheater of Memorial house on 08/26/2011 at 8 p.m.

Also, press representatives were informed about purchasing the photographs from the archives of the Vatican newspaper L'osservatore Romano, which will be presented to the public in the open gallery around the well of Memorial house and about current and future activities of the Memorial House of Mother Teresa.

On Friday 28/01/2011, the Youth Cultural Center was hosting the premiere of the play "Saint of the darkness" by the script of the writer Venko Andonovski, directed by Nina Nikolic.

The play was performed by the actors: Sabina Ajrula Tozija, Gjorgji Jolevski, Amernis Noksikji-Jovanovska, Emil Ruben and Dejan Lilikj.

The play "Saint of the Darkness“ is part of the projects that marked the celebration of 100 years anniversary of Mother Teresa’s birth and it will be performed in the cities all around our state and during the summer in the outdoor amphitheater at the Memorial house of Mother Teresa.

The play, which was part of the activities marking the celebration of 100 years of Mother Teresa’s birth, was written by Venko Andonovski and directed by Nina Nikolik.

Tibetan Spiritual leader the Dalai Lama recieved the Mother Teresa Memorial International Award for Social Justice. The award was presented by Indian Bollywood actress Rani Mukherjee and nuns from the Missionaries of Charity in New Delhi on November 18, 2010. The Tibetan spiritual leader received the award in honour of his commitments to human values, fostering inter-religious dialogue, and the welfare of the Tibetan people.
